Your documents.
On your iPhone.

EOBooster is operated by Joel Montesinos. This policy describes the iPhone app and its account service.

EOBs and patient information

Camera scans and imported PDFs are processed on your device using Apple’s text-recognition frameworks. Recognized text, patient and claim fields, saved reports, and Excel exports are not uploaded to the EOBooster account service. Saved history is kept in the app’s protected local storage and excluded from its device backup.

When you choose Save to Files, email, or another share destination, the copy goes to the location or service you select. Those copies are controlled by that service and are not removed when you delete history in EOBooster.

Accounts and subscriptions

The account service uses your email address if you sign in by email, or an Apple-issued identity identifier if you use Sign in with Apple. It stores account and session records, Apple purchase identifiers and subscription status, page counts, and random processing-operation identifiers to administer access and allowances. It does not receive the patient names, file names, document text, or claim details associated with those counts.

Apple processes subscription payments. EOBooster does not receive your card number. DigitalOcean hosts the account service, and Cloudflare provides domain and DNS services. Email sign-in, when enabled, uses an email-delivery provider to send verification codes.

Security and local locking

Account requests use HTTPS. Local session credentials use device-only Keychain storage. Optional Face ID or device passcode locking uses the iPhone’s authentication system; EOBooster does not receive or store your face template or passcode. Limited security records, including action types, timestamps, opaque account identifiers, and rate-limit information, help protect the service.

Analytics and advertising

The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. We do not use account data or document contents for advertising or sell them.

Deletion and retention

You can delete local reports in the app. Signing out preserves that account’s local reports. Account deletion is available in Account & security and requires recent authentication; it removes the active account profile, sessions, subscription records, and page-use records. Limited security records and scheduled backups may remain for security, recovery, or legal obligations. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription or remove copies you exported elsewhere.

Support and privacy requests

Contact support@eobooster.app. Do not send EOBs, patient details, or other protected health information in support messages.
